Our Trips Extreme Whitewater Rafting Class V

Image - Extreme Whitewater Rafting Class V

Whitewater rafting the Spring runoff through Bulls Bridge Gorge is not for the faint of heart. The melting snow in the gorge creates class IV and V rapids among the most difficult in New England. Not to fear though—our expert guides will ensure a safe and thrilling time for all.

We’ll depart from Manhattan at 8:00 am and make our way up to the Housatonic River in Connecticut. There you’ll be outfitted with a wetsuit, life jacket, and helmet and we’ll get a safety briefing before battling the whitewater. The journey will take you through eight exciting miles of whitewater, with a break in the middle for a snack. When we finish, we’ll go over to the local lodge for a hearty three-course dinner and you’ll get the chance to unwind and socialize with the crew.
