Our Trips Gunks Rock Climbing
Spend the day tackling the rock faces of the Shawangunks, one of the greatest climbing area on the East Coast. You’ll enjoy breathtaking views as you learn climbing techniques, different types of knots, and how to belay and rappel. This trip is great for people of all abilities—from experienced climbers to beginners looking to try climbing in a safe and comfortable environment.
You’ll be under the guidance of a certified AMGA guide with years of experience guiding and climbing. The guide-to-student ratio is never more than 4:1 so you’ll be sure to get the most out of your rock climbing day.

Trip Details
Cost: $179
Included: transportation, climbing equipment (ropes, belay devices, etc), harness, climbing shoes, NY State licensed guide
Bring: two liters of water, lunch and snacks, comfortable and weather-appropriate clothing, hiking boots or sturdy sneakers
Departure: 7:30 am, 43rd St. between 8th and 9th Ave. Look for van or bus on north side of 43rd Street.
Return: around 7:30 pm, 43rd St. between 8th and 9th
