We should preface by saying that we don’t actually condone being so drunk that you’re hungover in the morning. But if we did, we’d probably want to kick the hangover with a greasy breakfast at a small-town diner and a short little stroll in the woods where we could hang out by the lake.

It’s a three-day weekend and by the third day, you probably just need a little R&R to get you ready for the week again. There’s really no better way to do that than by spending some time outside and recharging by a beautiful lake. Of course a bacon, egg, and cheese helps too. So we’re going to start at a cute diner just outside of the city and after a hearty breakfast we’ll venture off into the woods for some much needed relaxing. It’s a short walk to a gorgeous lake and you’ll be able to enjoy some leisurely frisbee, swimming, or just a good old nap before we head back to the city.

Bring: well broken-in hiking boots, weather-appropriate clothing, backpack, lunch and snacks, 2 liters of water
Departure: 9:00 am, 43rd St. between 8th and 9th Ave. Look for van or bus on north side of 43rd Street.
Return: around 6:30 pm, 43rd St. between 8th and 9th Ave
