Our Trips Mountain Biking in Cunningham Park
If you’re itching to go for a ride but New York City traffic isn’t the kind of challenge you’re looking for, come join us for a day of mountain biking in Cunningham Park. With over seven miles of varied terrain from windy singletrack to dirt jumps and log rides, you’ll finish the ride with plenty of adrenaline and excitement. Our expert guides will be there every pedal stroke of the way to ensure a safe and action-packed ride. Small riding group sizes will allow personal instruction and input on fundamental riding skills from a Sponsored Semi-Pro Downhill racer.
We’ll depart from Manhattan at 9:30 am and drive to Peak Bike shop to pick up last minute snacks and get rental bikes for those that need. Front shocks are recommended, and knobby tires are a must. If you don’t have a proper mountain bike, the folks at the bike shop will sort you out.
Cost: $99
Bike Rental: $40
Included: transportation, licensed guides
Bring: two liters of water in camelback or small backpack, snacks, bike and helmet (you can rent at the bike shop)
Departure: 9:30 am, corner of 96th and Broadway (near the 1, 2, 3, B, and C trains and 96 and 106 buses)
Return: around 4 pm, corner of 96th and Broadway
