We think the name says it all, but in case you want a little more description: This is a gorgeous six mile hike through the picturesque Harriman State Park, with two long breaks at two beautiful lakes. Feel free to go for a swim or take in the gorgeous scenery as you enjoy lunch atop a lakeside overlook.

We’ll depart from Manhattan at 9 am and after a short drive we’ll hit the trailhead and start up a steep (and short) incline to gain magnificent views early on. We’ll hit the first lake two miles in and then enjoy lunch at the second lake just a short distance away. This is a great way to get outside on a gorgeous summer day.

Return: around 6:00 pm, 43rd St. between 8th and 9th
