Itinerary

Saturday, Day 1: Las Vegas

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! Your friendly Urban Escapes guide will meet you at the airport and bring you back into town, where you’ll have a free day to do whatever it is you do in Vegas. We’ll officially kick off the trip Saturday evening with, of course, a little Urban Escapes happy hour. But don’t party too hard – we’ve got a full week ahead of us!

Day 2: Hoover Dam, Lake Mead & Zion National Park

We’ll leave Vegas in the early morning and make our way over to Zion National Park, with a pit stop at the Hoover Dam and quick, refreshing swim at Lake Mead. Then it’s an intense day with a hike up to Angel’s Landing. We’ll spend the night camping in one of the park’s picturesque campgrounds.
Meals included: L, D

Day 3: Zion—Observation Point and The Narrows

Prepare to be wowed. Zion National Park is an amazing maze of high plateaus and narrow, sandstone canyons. Northing short, of breath-taking, Observation Point is one of the most famous and thrilling hikes in the national park system. It boasts magnificient views in all directions. Then, as if that wasn’t cool enough, we’ll finish the afternoon off with a hike through the incredible Narrows, a hike through Zion’s famous slot canyon. After an epic day of hiking, we’ll make it back to camp for a hearty dinner around the campfire.
Meals included: B, L, D

Day 4: Zion & Bryce Canyon

We’ll spend our last day in Zion having a lazy breakfast and enjoying the beautiful views from our campsite. Then it’s off to Bryce Canyon, where we’ll enjoy an awesome hike down in the heart of the canyon. We’ll reward ourselves with a hearty buffet dinner and then cap off the evening with a memorable night hike.
Meals included: B

Day 5: Bryce Canyon National Park

We can’t really say Bryce is more beautiful than Zion, but it’s definitely unique. Erosional forces have shaped rocks into bizarre shapes including slot canyons and windows, leaving us with an amazing array of naturally formed mazes and some of the most memorable hikes imaginable. We’ll spend the day hiking the breath-taking Fairyland Loop Trail and then enjoy another wonderful night cooking and hanging out in front a campfire.
Meals included: B, L, D

Day 6: The Grand Canyon

We’ll wake up early and make our way down to the Grand Canyon and there’s really not much more to say. As one of the greatest natural wonders of the world it is on virtually everyone’s life list—as well it should be. The canyon is 277 breath-taking miles long and ranges in width from 4 to 18 miles. We’ll spend the afternoon hiking from view point to view point and filling up our memory cards with beautiful pictures. Then after setting up camp (and prepare to really be wowed—we’ll be staying right on the North Rim of the canyon), we’ll enjoy happy hour watching the sun set behind the canyon.
Meals included: B, L

Day 7: The Grand Canyon & Las Vegas

After a leisurely morning at our campsite near the Grand Canyon, we’ll pack up our stuff and head back to Vegas where we’ll enjoy one last night on the town before heading back to reality, thoroughly sun-tanned and exhausted.

Day 8: Las Vegas

Hope your hangover isn’t too bad, because it’s time to head home. Say your goodbyes and plan to take another vacation to rest up from this vacation!
