Icon - EasyEasy

These are typically short hikes combined with other activities, such as light kayaking or snowtubing. While there will be some elements of physical exertion, these trips are great for people of all physical abilities.

Icon - IntermediateIntermediate

Most of our hikes fall under this category. Intermediate trips are great for beginners who want to push themselves a bit and for experienced people who want a day outside. The typical distances for these trips is anywhere from five to eight miles, depending on the elevation gain. Though these aren’t the most difficult trips that we do, you should expect to be sore and tired by the end of the day!

Icon - DifficultDifficult

Don’t be intimidated by difficult trips! These are definitely more intense and exhausting than other trips, but they are completely doable by anyone in decent shape. The hikes are typically over eight miles long and have significant elevation gain (which means great views!). We’ve taken a lot of first-time hikers on difficult hikes and they’ve really enjoyed themselves. Difficult trips also include our more extreme trips; while you may not have to be in top physical condition to enjoy them, you should be aware that they are not for the faint of heart. These are trips such as Skydiving and Class V Whitewater Rafting.

There are only a few of these trips per year and you must be invited (or ask for permission) to come on these. If you have a question about these trips, please e-mail us.
